Inventor Michelle Spencer of Aurora, CO designed a portable stool for massage therapists and beyond. As a traveling massage therapist, she struggled to find suitable seating while working on clients’ necks and arms — available chairs were stationary and lacked wheels, forcing her to constantly break her therapeutic flow.
When no seating was available, she would work on her knees on hard floors. This caused significant discomfort, especially during pregnancy. She knew there had to be a better way — and was inspired to create the Collapsible Stool.
